Keenan dedicated 13 years to working and deploying in the US Army Special Operations and the intelligence community. A portion of that time was spent as a canine handler in the 75th Ranger Regiment, the US Army's elite, direction action raid force. Currently working out of North Carolina, Keenan has spent the last three years specializing in behavioral modification with private clients, becoming one of the most sought-after trainers in his region.
While active in the intelligence community, his calling to help dogs came to fruition when he created a program to foster dogs in Afghanistan and find forever homes with families in the United States. After successfully rehoming dogs over two deployments, he decided to commit himself full-time to the canine training community, specializing in behavioral issues.
"I find no greater joy than finding a cause and a solution for why a dog behaves negatively. That solution typically leads to a fair and happy life for both the dog and their owners. I can't think of anything better than that."
Keenan is a founder and board member of the MR22 Corp.
